Clean and the staff was very pleasant. Had twin room with very comfortable beds as well as hairdryer. A good choice of excellent food. Marvellous and amazing location in a very very nice area not far from transport, garage next door and city centre and Anfield.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast choice, and not too far but not too close to the crazy centre of town!
The immediate area looks really grim, but there's actually a great market and it would be very accessible if you were driving. We had a small room, which was fine, but it had a bit too much furniture in it which stopped the bathroom door from closing! I meant to tell the owner but I forgot... Sorry!

We stayed at this hotel, which was good value for money & near to our venue for the weekend, The Anfield Experience. All the staff we met were very friendly, helpful & jovial (take note you Southerners!) The hotel was very clean & homely. Our room had tea & coffee making facilities, tv/dvd, ironing board, iron. Our room was very spacious & the en-suite was also very clean. Although our room was right on a busy main road, we heard no traffic noise. The hotel has charm & so do the staff. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Not so much a "didn't like" just a "little concern" - there actually is no on-site hotel parking, but we were advised by the staff at the hotel that the garage next door offer overnight parking at a very reasonable rate (cheap, by city-price comparison). Although this too was also right on the main road, our car was secure overnight.

Lovely staff, friendly, warm, and welcoming without being obtrusive or over-bearing. Excellent local knowledge and willingness to share this knowledge. Excellent for fans for Everton or Liverpool travelling over for football - walking distance to both grounds. Staff very helpful with maps, directions, and calling taxis. Pub next door to hotel. Full English breakfasts served. Flat screen tv with plenty of radio and tv channels unlike some more expensive accomodation, comfy room with all the amenities, Particular thanks to Kevin and hope to see everyone there soon on my next trip over to Goodison Park.

Kevin the owner was a brilliant tour guide giving us alot of information about the city and ideas for things to do. I had an issue with some noisy dutch guests but the problem was resolved very quickly without upsetting anyone. Breakfast was OK. Hotel was very clean.
